Tuesday Continue working with Rates.  Assign PS 16.2 or Homework 16.2 or Practice 16.2

Understand the concept of a unit rate a/b associated with a ratio a:b

with b 0, and use rate language in the context of a ratio relationship.

Use ratio and rate reasoning to solve real-world and mathematical

problems, e.g., by reasoning about tables of equivalent ratios, tape

diagrams, double number line diagrams, or equations

Wednesday Introduce Distance Speed and Time.  Use page 426-427 in text for this.  Work through WS 24 together and page 427, #1-13 together  
Thursday Work on Distance Speed and Time:  Assign Page 427, #1-14  Check planners to see what student was assigned.  
Friday DST: Work Day:  Assign P16.3 and WKS 24, evens. 

Circle R16.3, or H 16.3 or E 16.3  for homework.

Use ratio reasoning to convert measurement units; manipulate

and transform units appropriately when multiplying or dividing

quantities.
